About Whakatane Kiwi Trust

Whakatane Kiwi Trust is responsible for pest control and other management in the Whakatane reserves which has seen a population of more than 200 kiwi now living in an open sanctuary. The trust has also translocated North Island robins to the reserves and runs an active education programme. Volunteers and supporters of all sorts are welcome.
