About Kaimai Canoe Club

Kaimai Canoe Club has been paddling local waters since the 1970s and many members are out there whenever they can. Based in Tauranga, the club is a paddling community who like to have fun, and help ease new paddlers into the sport. One of our best local assets is the Wairoa River which has a hydro release flow 26 days a year. The club runs a handful of organised club trips throughout the year usually on the Rangitaiki, Tongariro, Motu and our local Wairoa, Waiari and Kaituna rivers. We also run a few pool training sessions throughout the year. New members to the club are always welcome.
